MODERATOR INFO
If you have been directed here by me, then you have probably been selected as a moderator on DBHerobrine's channel. This page is intended to give you all the information you need to be a valued part of the team.
It is important to remember that we all have a place in making sure that channel chat runs smoothly and that our viewers and chatters are happy with their experience. The primary goals of a mod in the stream chat is to enforce rules, be helpful and friendly, and help feed the conversation.
It is important that you know that your position as a mod is voluntary. In most cases, I have asked you if you want to be a mod. I want this to be something you enjoy doing and not something you feel you are obligated to do. If at any point you no longer wish to be a mod just let me know, there will be no hard feelings and I do hope you will continue to hang out with us. I do not want past mods to feel that they are in any way excluded from the stream.
Real life comes first, please never let your position as a mod get in the way of things you have going on it real life. On a personal level, I feel that family and friends should always come before the stream.
Any mod found abusing their power will be removed from being a mod, I will not allow the viewers to be picked on, harassed, or verbally assaulted by anyone but myself. If you feel you have witnessed a mod making a bad decision, do not be afraid to contact me with your concerns, I have a bot in channel logging all chats and interactions so if you can please provide a date and time that the issue happens so I can research it more.
PUNISHMENT
We have a 3 tier escalation process in place for infractions of the rules. In most cases, the escalation process goes like this:
Warning > Timeout > Ban
In the event that someone comes right into chat and starts trolling "This is gay, you suck." just ban the user. We do not give clear trolls 3 strikes.
- Warning: Warnings are to be given verbally by me in stream "SusieQ123, that's against the rules, do not do it again." or in chat by a moderator "SusieQ123, do not use profanity, this is a child and family friendly channel".
- Timeout: In the event that the person decides that they are going to ignore the warning and continue the behavior, a time out with warning is allowed. If needed, time the user out and then state in chat 'SusieQ123, you have a 10 min timeout, you were warned, do not do it again or we will be forced to ban you.'
- Ban: If the user continues to be a trouble maker and break the rules, a ban is put in place. There is no need to give a warning on the 3rd strike. After a ban, please type in chat a notice to them along the lines of 'SusieQ123, I have been forced to ban you. If you do not agree with this ban, please contact DBHerobrine through Twitch message.'

Please read the chat rules and make sure you are familiar with them, as a mod it is up to you to enforce these rules. If you ever have a question if something breaks the rules feel free to ask me in twitch chat.
TWITCH COMMANDS
Any variables in <brackets> are variables. Do not type the brackets when issuing commands.
To avoid misfires (timeout on the wrong person, ban of the wrong person) type out the command instead of clicking the icons next to people’s names.

- /timeout <username> <time in seconds> - Timeout the user for X seconds. They will not be able to chat in stream during this time.
- /timeout <username> – Timeout the user for ten minutes.
- /timeout <username> 1 – Clear the chat of the user. Use this to clear things like game hints or such if they are not requested or allowed at the time.
- /ban <username> – Bans the user. This is the ban-hammer and should always be the last choice.
- /mods – Lists the channel moderators.
- /slow – Turns slow mode on. Unless REALLY needed this should only be used at my command.
- /slowoff – Turns slow mode off.
- /clear – Clear the full chat! This should almost NEVER be used except in the even of a mass troll flood. Try and use a one second timeout instead.

- !love - Show DBHerobrine some love!
- !modpack - Find out what mods DBHerobrine is currently using!
- !rules - Show how to find the rules of the stream!
- !songs - Get more information on song requests!
- !back - Tell chat that DBHerobrine is back from his break!
- !ip - Display the IP of the server DBHerobrine is on!
- !pg - Remind chat that it is a PG chat room!
- !follow - Remind people to follow the channel!
- !restart - Tell chat thet DBHerobrine is restarting Minecraft!
- !picnic - Use if DBHerobrine's stream unexpectedly went offline!
- !website - Display the link to this website!
- !feature - Show the link to the website that DBHerobrine is featured on!
- !serverchat - Remind thae chat that their messages may not be seen on a server!
